Welcome Note
Roads Fund Board was established by THE ROAD AND FUEL TOLLS ACT, CHAPTER 220.
This Board is comprised of nine Members, four from the public sector and five from the private sector. They are Chairperson (outside Public Sector), Permanent Secretary - Ministry of Works, Permanent Secretary - Ministry of Finance and Planning, Permanent Secretary - President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government, Director from Ministry of Works, representative from Transporters Association of Tanzania, representative from Tanzania National Parks, representative from Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, and representative from Confederation of Tanzania Industries.
The tenure of office of the Board member is 3 years renewable once.
