RERIS Mobile App Privacy Policy

Roads Fund Board (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of users of the Roads e-Revenue Management Information System mobile application (“RERIS App”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect personal data when applicants use the RERIS App and related online services.

When you use the RERIS App, we may collect and process the following information:
• Account information such as name, username, email address, phone number, TIN, identification details, and address.
• Application information submitted for road reserve services, digital billboard services, permits, bills, payments, and related services.
• Supporting documents uploaded by the user where required for an application.
• Billing and payment information such as control numbers, bill status, payment records, and permit status.
• Device and technical information necessary for security, authentication, troubleshooting, and service improvement.
• Login and session information required to authenticate users and protect user accounts.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
• Create and manage applicant accounts.
• Verify applicant information where required.
• Process road reserve and digital billboard applications.
• Generate and manage bills, control numbers, payments, and permits.
• Display application status, payment status, and permit information.
• Provide user support and respond to enquiries.
• Improve system security, reliability, and service delivery.
• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, audit, and government reporting requirements.
3. Sharing of Information
We may share relevant information with authorized government institutions and service providers only where necessary for processing applications and delivering RERIS services. These may include road authorities, revenue or verification systems, payment/billing systems, and authorized government technology service providers.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
4. Data Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential.

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide RERIS services, comply with legal obligations, maintain official records, resolve disputes, support audits, and enforce applicable requirements.

Subject to applicable laws and procedures, users may request access, correction, or clarification regarding their personal data processed through RERIS.

The RERIS App is not intended for children. It is intended for applicants and authorized users who need to access road service application services.
8. App Permissions
The RERIS App may request access to files or documents only when a user chooses to upload supporting documents. The app does not use personal data for advertising or tracking.
